Learn about my travels to Prague! Prague is the capital and the largest city in the Czech Republic.

HOW TO GET AROUND:
Prague's city centre is compact, so it is simple to travel around either on foot or by public transport. But use taxis with caution - taxis hailed on the street can overcharge, and there is often traffic congestion. A single fare ticket for the public transportation network permits you to travel on all metros, trams and buses for a set period of time. Plus it allows you to switch between the three transport modes. There are also 1-Day, 3-Day and 1-Month passes. Tickets and passes are on sale at metro stations, Public Transport Information Centres, newsagents, and from orange/yellow ticket machines located at major tram and bus stops, and inside some of the newer trams.
